Tavis Smiley will not be speaking at the annual MLK luncheon in Peoria, IL., “amid growing concerns about a backlash to his appearance,” due to his criticism of President Barack Obama, reports PJStar.com. Fox News has more from Mr. Smiley.

Here’s some of the criticisms Mr. Smiley had for President Obama while at 92nd Street Y in 2008 with Dr. Cornel West. His criticisms at that time were tamer than the words he had last year, while on a 16-city tour poverty bus tour with Dr. West.
