By the way, this is not the first time we’ve heard such a sentiment. Writing his last column as “The Observer” in the Boston Globe in 2010, columnist Sam Allis recalled the second column he wrote in that space, when he used it to argue for why Boston needs their own version of the 92nd Street Y.
