Sandra Fluke, the Georgetown Law graduate and progressive activist attacked by Rush Limbaugh for her comments to Congress about insurance coverage for contraception, talks about the impact of President Obama’s health care law and what it means for women’s health issues. She explains how it’s “an incredible step forward” for women, men and families, beyond the contraception issue, that would all be undone by a Romney/Ryan White House. As far as a “war on women,” she says you can call it what you want but the legislative attacks on women’s health and pay are very real issues.

Noah Feldman On The Affordable Care Act

In this video (recorded at 92nd Street Y from November of last year), Harvard Law School professor Noah Feldman is asked if he believes the Supreme Court will uphold the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act. A nice to clip review in light of Monday’s announcement that the Supreme Court will hear that case. NPR has a nice summary of the issues.
