We join the mourning for the passing of former NYC mayor Ed Koch. He never refused an invitation to appear at 92Y and he truly loved all we stand for. He brought an unforgettable and fierce humor and honesty to our stage, all on display in this clip where he talks about fighting depression while mayor.
Other memorable moments: He was on a panel in 2008 five days before the presidential election to discuss “How Should Jews Vote?” and the last time he was on our stage in September, he was as engaging as ever on the topic of aging and Relevant Octogenarians.
