Larry David Returns to 92Y!
This video clip is from a bonus feature in the “Curb Your Enthusiasm” sixth season DVD with Larry running through the streets of New York (looking suspiciously like Los Angeles) and ending up at 92Y where he is interviewed by co-star Susie Essman.
We are delighted that both are returning to 92Y on Monday night for Joy Behar’s Comics with Benefits: A Benefit Performance for Hurricane Sandy Relief. Get tickets before it sells out!
If you’re looking for a way to help hurricane victims and also celebrate laughter and resilience, come to this very special evening at 92nd Street Y.
"Joy Behar’s Comics with Benefits" will feature a rare stand-up routine from Behar herself, as well as comedy from her friends including Andy Borowitz, winner of the first National Press Club award for humor, Emmy-Award winning actress Judy Gold, Darrell Hammond, Susie Essman, Mario Cantone, John Fugelsang, Wendy Williams, Rosie Perez, Sherri Shepherd and Dee Snider in addition to other notable names in the worlds of TV, film, theater and music. Current co-founder Vice President Al Gore and actress and singer Liza Minnelli; Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert and others will appear in special videotaped segments during the event.
100% of the proceeds will benefit two local charities, which are providing hurricane Sandy relief: UJA-Federation of New York, which cares for people in need, and Rebuilding Together, which repairs and renovates damaged homes.
Here’s great video from the recent “Curb Your Enthusiasm” event at 92Y.
Larry David said, “I’m trying to get closer to on-screen Larry every day.”
The “Curb Your Enthusiasm” at 92Y episode airs on August 8!
And for those of you who are fans of laughing out loud, Ricky Gervais is here on November 13.
